Almi Foods is a prominent Greek food export company , with a global presence spanning over 30 countries. We are known for our exceptional product quality , a diverse range of continually evolving recipes , outstanding customer service , and a commitment to integrity in all business dealings. We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our Quality Assurance team.
** Job Description : ** The role involves active participation in all activities related to the Quality Assurance department’s operations.
** Key Responsibilities include : **
- Conducting product quality control
- Communicating with customers , suppliers , certification bodies , and external laboratories
- Monitoring relevant legislation
- Completing customer specifications and maintaining internal documentation
- Managing quality documentation for shipments
- Close cooperation with our RnD department
** Required Qualifications : **
- A degree in Food Technology , Food Science , or a related field
- Work experience in food industry ( min 2 years )
- Familiarity with Food Quality Systems ( IFS , BRC , ISO 22000 )
- Proficiency in English , both written and spoken
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- A passion for food is highly valued : Experience in food industry , a keen palate , or knowledge of relationship between food and health are qualities that will help the candidate thrive in our company.
